October 5th, last week of CSA

To our members and friends:) Here we are, at the end of the 2011 CSA season. It is bittersweet for us farmers. The summer is so lovely with all of its fresh vegetables to keep us healthy, connecting with all of you at the farm, plenty of sunshine, and plenty of physical activity. But it is also exhausting, and by the end of September we are ready to go into our own hibernation. We want to put the soil to rest and put our bodies to rest so that everything can refuel for next spring… when the circle of life begins again.

We hope you all have enjoyed the season and all of the yummy food and we would greatly appreciate your feedback about what you liked or how we can improve what we’re trying to do. There will be a questionnaire in your boxes for those of you who pick up in Stonington and there will be one here at the farm for those of you who pick up on site.

We thank you all for your support of our farm and we look forward to your continued support in the years to come:) ~The Farmers
